Quetico Learning Centre is on 100 acres on 1 km of shoreline on Eva Lake just outside of Atikoan It’s 17 buildings include a conference centre, recreational centre (with fitness facilities, library, craft studio, lounges), dining hall, office building, plants, tennis courts and action sports park.

Ministry Transportation Ontario Airport Operations
Training for the position of Airport Foreperson who is responsible for all services, facilities,personnel, equipment, supplies, enforcement of MTO and community directives, all operation and maintenance procedures including security and safety programs.
Heavy Equipment Operator
Each student will receive in-class training covering a wide variety of safety and procedural topics. In-field training will be done for the Rubber Tire Backhoe Loader, the Bulldozer and the Excavator. At this point all students will receive Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development Private Career College Certification for all 3 pieces of Equipment along with a hot of other certifications. The Heavy Equipment Training Program will give students a definite advantage when seeking employment in the Industry.
Take Charge
This course concentrates on life-skills, using the digital creative arts mediums to develop skills of teamwork, organization, writing, working with deadlines, being accountable, having integrity and producing quality. Gain leadership development skills and the competencies to develop and implement a project from start to finish.
Mental Health First Aid
Pre-Trades
You will gain exposure to and practical experience with a variety of machines and equipment lubrication. You may find yourself in a garage or outdoors in different types of weather. The abilities that make you successful in this industry are your good vision, hearing and sense of smell.
